Veerabhadra Temple, Lepakshi, Andhra Pradesh

Thepperumnllur Shiva Temple, Tamil Nadu

On 15 January 2010, a strange incident took place in this temple. That day was the day of Surya Grihan. When the priest of the temple opened the main door of the temple to drink water….He saw a cobra coming down from a tree with a leaf in his mouth. After reaching down, the snake kept the leaf from his mouth on the Shivling. The snake repeated the process for some time.
